The title is taken from a theory in cosmology which attempts to describe the current form of the universe.

The key point here is that as the universe expands, the ‘bumps’ of difference formed in the universe, during its' turbulent early stages of growth, gradually smooth out leaving a more uniform structure.

Beginning from the destruction of a previous piece, Inflationary Model spread virus-like across the studio floor, enveloping all objects in the space. This helped to make the work more organic and open-ended in its construction.

A set of internal rules guided the works growth.
